Why the organization was started?
I'm by the name of Kizito Henry, the Chief Executive Officer and the founder of Kizito and Barbara Ministries.
I started the organization based on the life I went through during my childhood and youth. I started working when I was young and I supported my family because I was born from a poor background where children start working at an early age.
My education wasn't easy because it was full of struggle and suffering. My mother only paid my school fees in primary one and two, not because she didn't want to give me school fees, but because she had no money. From primary three to university, I have been assisted by different people, though I failed to complete university due to tuition problems.
Basing on what I went through, like going to school in a torn uniform, no school fees on time, you find no food at home when you come back from school and even no house rent on time, no scholastic equipment and, to make matters worse, you find yourself having no job and you cant be employed anywhere but you have to go on.
We don't learn experience from school, but we go through experience and we can't keep on pretending that someone will take part. It's you and me, so let us begin.
You and I can create a better future for the children, and they will have a better tomorrow which is brighter than yesterday.
