What you need to know about Kizito and Barbara Ministries children.
Kizito and Barbara Ministries’ children are currently supported at their homes. Some children are orphans, or living with single parents, and only few are fortunate enough to have both of their parents. Even those that have a mother or father (or on the rare occasion, both) can’t be provided for. This is not because of any lack of love, but because these parents are illiterate and it is hard for them to find a job that can support their families. Therefore, we end up taking care of their children in a parental, domestic capacity as well as an educational one.
The foundation takes care of over 78 children but often friends of these children join then and then the number can exceed a hundred.
Very few children have got a chance to go to school; they face a lot of challenges and a lack of fundamental support and necessities negatively impacts their educational stability.
That a majority of children do not have a chance to be in school, is not because they are blunt, dull or stupid, they do not lack intelligence, dedication, or capacity, it is simply because of a lack of support and insufficient means to pay for school fees, scholastic materials, or basic needs.

What we do and how we do it for children.
Education is the core value of our organization. We empower vulnerable and underprivileged children through schooling by paying their school fees, finding dedicated sponsors, and providing vital school materials so every child can learn and succeed.
How We Support Education
- School Fees Payment: We provide direct financial support to keep children in classrooms.
- Child Sponsorship: We connect children with sponsors who cover tuition and school needs.
- School Materials: We distribute books, pens, and pencils gathered from kind donors.
Whole-Child Care for Better Learning
- Health and Medicine: We supply necessary medicine so sick children heal before going to class.
- Basic Needs: We provide food and clothes to keep children healthy and ready to study.
- Problem Solving: We investigate daily challenges and find solutions so learning is never interrupted.

How we distribute donations.
We ensure that each donation made to Kizito and Barbara Ministries is transparently used for its purpose. We understand that when someone makes donations, it is imperative to know what use this money is being put to.
The donation will be globally distributed to five major necessities, namely:
1. Education 25%
2. Basic needs 25%
3. Health 25%
4. Project development 20%
5. Savings 5%
We all know that education is the key to success. “Education is the key to unlocking the world. It is the passport to freedom”, according to Oprah Winfrey. So, we shall distribute 25% of the donations to educative purposes, including school fees and scholastic materials.
Without basic needs there is no life, thus, we will use 25% percent to cater to basic needs such as food, clothes, water, etc.
We all know that this is not an all-time, continuous donation. So we have to develop projects for the foundation so that it can run on its own. For instance, we have a coming farming project. Our mum, Barbara, promised us the farmland machines. Therefore, every 20% of the donation will go to project development and which will help us to solve all the problems that are facing the foundation. So, this would be our number one priority.
The rest 5% will go to savings because we don’t know when someone will be in position to donate. So this percentage can be used whenever we have an emergency.
